Where do I get them or where are they, I am in builder mode and want to change an icon in the theme I am using.

you want to change what icon for what icon?

depends on the theme. some themes come with extra icons (look in the folder) - other browse to where you keep your icons

Is there a general set of icon that come w/ DesktopX or do I just use my windows icons?

nope

do I just use my windows icons?

you can.. or use one from the misc icons gallery.. or one you create or find on the web.. or use a png or bmp
